The February 2010 Newsletter, written by the chapter officers, is attached as a .pdf document. You have to be registered to see and download the attachment. I encourage everyone to do that, because it is a good read and will bring you up-to-date on the exceptional efforts of the extraordinary people who are our brothers.
As we continue to create the new website, I encourage all alumni to join the new GIN system site associated with the new Phi Tau website. Once this gets running, we will be able to communicate with you much easier. This will also allow you to communicate with us much more easily. If you would like to get connected to this site, please email me at kweino@ku.edu and I will get you added to the system.
In partner with the GIN System, Phi Tau online will be getting a face lift. On Sept. 1, 2009, the new and improved phikappatau.org will be uploaded and running on the web. I encourage everyone to check it out when it gets running in about three weeks.
Gentlemen,
As you can gauge from the title of this article, I am attempting on getting a jump start on the Alumni/Member event for the Spring of '10.
I am looking for ideas of what you think would bring back the most alumni. I am also looking for a date the would work for the vast majority of people, I am guessing that with it being this far in advance, there should be very few problems with the date of the event.
Some ideas that have been brought up by members of the house are: Softball, BBQ cookoff, and some other suggestions. But as stated earlier, I am looking for Alumni imput.
Brothers,
The BOG's April 12, 2009 letter to the graduate council is attached. You can access it by logging in.
