Homecoming 2008!
Homecoming 2008 is Saturday, Oct. 25, against Texas Tech. It also is the 60th anniversary of the Beta Theta chapter at KU!
The Damon Miller Classic golf tournament is Friday, Oct. 24. Details are in the Homecoming flier.

Homecoming 2007: The Jayhawks shamed Nebraska, 76-39, on Nov. 3, 2007, the worst defeat in Nebraska's history, on the way to the best season in Kansas football history, a No. 8 national ranking and a 24-21 win over Virginia Tech in the Orange Bowl. And we have some video of some of the guys at the house that Saturday!
Other activities included the Brotherhood Reception after the golf tournament at the 23rd Street Bar and Grill in Lawrence, the Silent Auction at the Chapter House, and the annual Graduate Council meeting also at the Chapter house. Comments? Questions? Post it in the forum.
Homecoming 2006: The Phi Kappa Tau chapter
house was mobbed with our returning alumni! More guys than ever attended Homecoming 2006, leading one brother to remark that the packed intitiation of new brother Brad Rachow looked like the PHI TAU ALL STARS! And for the first time in the history of the Damon Miller Homecoming Golf Tournament, a pair of actives won! Congratuations to Chapter President Travis Koehring and Vice President Shane Hauschild for shutting down the alumni on the links!
100 for the 100th: The Board of Governors set an ambitious goal of having 100 alumni return for Phi Kappa Tau's 100th birthday, and the chapter blew that away. 114 alumni attended, plus our BOG member Kevin Boatright of Upsilon chapter! Contributions to the Brotherhood Loyalty Fund were outstanding, and the 48 men who played in the golf tournament -- the most ever -- raised $1,000 for the Hole in the Wall Gang. $250 of that came from Damon Miller's family.
Centennial Reception: This was another mob scene at the Eldridge Hotel, and downtown Lawrence was rockin'. If you haven't seen Lawrence at Homecoming lately, you haven't seen Lawrence. A shout-out to Brother Stephen Martino for executing his great vision for our 100-year celebration weekend! And special thanks to Brother Justin Wrisley for coordinating the golf tournament and Brother Trey Ham for orchestrating T-shirts.
We have photos of Homecoming 2005, courtesy of Mike Hink. Pix of float building, the Homecoming competitions, the annual golf tournament and the mob scene after KU beat the u of misery, ummm, again, again, again!
Damon Miller and Jon Young won the Beta Theta Cup golf tournament, but they had to go to a scorecard playoff to do it, and on the fourth hole they won. The most alumni ever played in the 2005 tournament, 41, and Damon asked that more guys show up in 2006. Several brothers proposed renaming the tournament in his honor.
Brian Kresin won the award for having traveled the farthest for Homecoming 2005, from Santa Barbara, Calif. That's about three mountain ranges, two deserts and a whole lotta prairie to cross, so if Brian can do it, you can, too!
At Homecoming 2004, Phi Tau cleaned up for the third year in a row! Partnered with Chi Omega sorority, the actives took first place again in the decorated-vehicle category and third place overall. The University Daily Kansan published an article about Phi Tau's float-building skill, under the headline "How to Build a Kick-Ass Float -- It Ain't Easy."
