Phi Kappa Tau at the University of Kansas

I can't make it back to Lawrence this October. Duty calls, havta work. So someone be sure to take good notes, or bring a camera, to keep us folks filled in from afar.

I've stayed away for 20+ years- however, my liver has finally healed enough to return to Lawrence. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Might have to round up a few folks and do a quick tour of Louise's West and Bullwinkles. -MIKE REMMERT

Who is going to homecoming this year? I am bringing the family out from Colorado for a rare visit and just want to know what the plans are. Almost made it last year so I am determined this year.

Whew, finally made it home after a hectic time west of the Mississip. It was great to see everyone, and especially to see the Hawks slaughter Nebraska. I had never seen KU beat Nebraska, so it was especially sweet to see them hand Nebraska the worst defeat in that school's history.

I have some video of the mob scene at the house. I'll get that posted when I can, but, drat, I woke up Monday morning with a horrible cold. Probably a virus brought down from a Nebraska fan.

OK, I made it in for Homecoming, and even brought a camera to see if I can take everyone's picture. I'm no good at cameras, so someone else will have to help make it work.

I'll be in Lawrence by this afternoon, maybe in time to catch some of the golfers on the course. If Tiger Woods gets to play, next year I'm signing up my stepfather to play in my place. He's like 80 something, but I'll bet he would give y'all a run for the trophy.

Hey guys just wated to take this oportunity to introduce myself. My name's Brian from Overland Park and I'm an associate this semester. I love playing sports and basically just hanging out. The semester is going great so far and hope to finish it off strong.

Bert Green got a chat thing working yesterday, and it is very cool.

It is in the Parents Club and Academics pages for now ... we'll have to move that to just a Chat area ... but what it does is, if you notice that you are online at the same time as someone else, if you go to the page where this Chat thing is installed, it will pop up a weird little widget that lets you chat in real time with the other person.

Check it out ... it will be lots of fun!

Many thanks to Bert Green for helping to get this going. He figured out how to get the News Aggregator working and how to work with the "themes," which affect the looky-feely.

I tried to get multiple-language support working today, with limited success. We'll see how that works in the future.
